Encounter

A rain on the moor,
Howls pierce the fog under shaded moon,
The hunt begins.

The Bloom

Shaking off the cold,
Stretching........ reaching to feel the sun,
A wink, then a smile.

Mistakes

Bars crack through silence,
Memories kept close..........never fading,
Shame for another day.

The Wading Pool

Reflective worlds,
Stepping into one from another,
Hip deep, reaching for........change.

Night Terror

Yelling, crying, crawling
Ring the bell to call the light
The shadow fades away.

To A Place

Slow, quiet footsteps
A light tingle from a soft touch
Heat for a cold night.

The Oak

Day's candle flickers out,
A bed of leaves to keep warm
So tired.......so sleepy.

The Promise

Whispers on the wind,
There must be pleasant promises
to make the leaves dance.
